Hello. How are you? It’s pretty chilly here in Windsor today. The decluttering is ongoing, going well. Today we took a load of stuff to the charity shop because, let’s face it, just piling stuff up in the garage is not really the solution. I’m up to 130/200 items decluttered this month. I’m going forContinue reading “Still talking about stuff..”

The lavender is out
Hi. How do you like our lavender? We have 2 big pots of this at the front of the house. We used to plant these pots up with something like begonias every year. The lavenders are less work and more cost effective as they stay in the pots year round. I believe the bees likeContinue reading “The lavender is out”
A few photos from Wellington College
Hi. Where does all the time go? I always manage to achieve much less than I hoped to at the weekends. I guess that’s what weekends are for, relaxing and not doing much, but it still annoys me! My crafty March plans are just that, plans. I am not sure they will become reality asContinue reading “A few photos from Wellington College”
Word Press anniversary etc
Hello folks. I received this message above yesterday. I started my WordPress account 2 years ago. It took me over a month after that to figure how how to post a blog post. Hydrangeas and Delphiniums
Hello everyone. The hydrangeas are doing very well in our front garden border now. Complete with mushrooms that keep growing next to them, for some reason. We have 2 x white hydrangeas and 1 x blue hydrangea. I think they’ll look really good in a couple of years when they completely fill this space. HereContinue reading “Hydrangeas and Delphiniums”
A very muddy walk around Holyport
This, honestly, was one of the easiest paths this afternoon. It got really muddy after this. We were clinging on to branches at the sides of the path with brambles clawing at our jackets whilst trying to avoid getting sucked into the vortex of thick, gloopy mud below. Phew! We made it. For those ofContinue reading “A very muddy walk around Holyport”
My favourite daffodil, 36th February!
Hello folks. Let me start by explaining 36th February… well, actually, I have no explanation. David woke up on Friday morning and his bedside clock was like this…(excuse the blurry photo).. Friday 36th February?! How weird is that? My clock meanwhile was 10 days’ behind showing 26th February. Oh well, panic over, the clock hasContinue reading “My favourite daffodil, 36th February!”
