Hello everyone. It’s feeling a bit warmer now. Still raining. I’ve still got my vest on, but you know, it’s quite warm today. Hurray! Spring at last. I’ve been limping along through these winter months. This is so welcome. The fruit and veg challenge is ongoing, and becoming more challenging. Here is this week’s progress:Continue reading “Welcome to Spring and a trip down Memory Lane for Mother’s Day”

Quick blog before tea
Hi. I do love a cup of tea and a piece of cake, don’t you? For me the tea is usually English breakfast or occasionally Earl Grey, with semi skimmed milk and no sugar. I have caffeine whereas David has decaffeinated. I don’t know why really as he drinks Diet Coke which contains caffeine, butContinue reading “Quick blog before tea”
Pink berries
Hi. I enjoyed seeing these pink berries on my walk today. I also saw these white ones which were OK but not as nice as the pink ones. Then I saw these which I think are little flower buds rather than berries. It’s amazing how much is still in flower past the middle of NovemberContinue reading “Pink berries”
Fulham Palace
Hi. How are you all? I’m not sure my last post had uploaded properly so I’ve just hit the publish button on “Autumn Leaves” again so you may or may not get 2 new posts today. Yesterday I visited Fulham Palace with my old school friend Sarah. We’d been meaning to go there since lockdownContinue reading “Fulham Palace”
Afternoon walk from Bray
This afternoon David and I had a walk from Bray. We parked near Bray lake which is one of the few places locally that you can park free of charge. It was relatively quiet today. The weather has been weird today. After the hot, hot, hot of yesterday where we stayed outside with friends inContinue reading “Afternoon walk from Bray”
Too hot to blog?! 🥵🥵🥵
Hello my friends. How are you? It’s over 30 degrees C in Windsor today. That’s very hot for us. The Thames Valley is like a cauldron of heat, not that I’m complaining or anything 🤪🤪 So I worked hard in the office today with no A/C and it was a busy and productive day butContinue reading “Too hot to blog?! 🥵🥵🥵”
The lilies are flowering
How gorgeous is this? Vibrant orange and yellow lilies on their way. The bulbs were a gift to David from his Mum. There are also begonias in the pots yet to flower. It’s been a busy day, but productive, sorry not much blog tonight. Back soon X.
Visit to The Hurlingham Club
Hello. It’s been a busy weekend. On Friday I went to The Hurlingham Club in Fulham with my school friend Sarah. Then on Saturday overnight to Sunday David and I visited my niece Hazel who is studying at Cambridge University. Today I’ll tell you about The Hurlingham Club. This is a very exclusive private members’Continue reading “Visit to The Hurlingham Club”
April = garden month 😎
Hi. I don’t have Covid any more 😊. I had my first properly negative test on Saturday, just in time for my birthday and Easter Sunday yesterday. It’s been a great weekend. Glorious sunshine. Out and about again without the Covid. We’re still a bit tired on and off, David’s ears are still bothering himContinue reading “April = garden month 😎”
Carry on Blogging 😊
Hi everyone. Well I’ve been through some stuff with WordPress this weekend and ended up £51. poorer ☹️as a result by upgrading to more storage space. I’ve been having frustrating problems loading posts and pictures on and off for a while now. My shortcut was to delete some photos from the WordPress media library. IContinue reading “Carry on Blogging 😊”
