Hi guys. Here are a few more pics from the weekend. Three Cliffs Bay is so beautiful. You can’t see the beach or the three cliff peaks at the start of the walk so you are rewarded with the lovely view when you’ve done some of the walk and turned the corner. We started at Shepherd’s stores in Parkmill where we left the car. You pay inside the shop.

There are a few streams to navigate, a bit challenging until you find the stepping stones. Pennard castle up on the hill.

Some horses arrived..

Fantastic scenery and walks but also great food followed..
Obligatory chocolate sundae at Joe’s in Mumbles. 😋😋😋😋

Hanson at the Chelsea is the best restaurant in Swansea that I’ve been to. I had the goats cheese and beetroot cheesecake to start followed by the seafood rendezvous… I think there were 8 different types of fish/seafood, absolutely delicious! David had a steak, also very much enjoyed.

We had dinner the following night at the top of Swansea tower, I think some Swansea footballers have apartments there. The restaurant is like a pub. Great views of the lights of the City. I had scampi, chips and peas and David had the lamb faggots. Very nice and inexpensive.

Before heading home on Monday we stopped off at Swansea market. It’s such a great place. David had cockles in a tub with vinegar while we were there. I was still full from the enormous Morgan’s hotel cooked breakfast. We took our cool bag and filled up with rissoles (remember them..?) corned beef and lamb ones, also lamb and mint pies, pork pie, Cornish pasties, faggots and Pembrokeshire potatoes. I also got some Welsh daffodils for my sister. I could only just carry the cool bag but still wish we’d got more for the freezer. We’ve eaten quite a lot of the stuff already. It was all lovely. David said the pork pie was the best he’d had in years. I really liked the lamb and mint pies.
I’ve made myself hungry now so I think I’ll get the pasties out of the freezer to defrost for lunch tomorrow. Don’t worry, Fit February exercise is still on and going quite well, and I will be cycling and swimming tomorrow morning before I scoff a pasty. One more Swansea instalment next time..Xx

Oooh love Three Cliffs Bay.. a lovely surprise to walk to. That chocolate Sunday…. Wow!! X

That was David’s! I had a smaller version of the same. We never try any different flavours, always the chocolate sundae 👍😍
